He has put together a team of professionals who are as equally dedicated to the concern of his patients as he is. Scott is our Principal Orthodontist with a dental career spanning over 18 years. He started Scott Smith Orthodontics (ISO) in 2008 with the aim to yield dedicated community based specialist orthodontic care in Launceston and the northwest coast of Tasmania. Scott then dedicated 8 years to pediatric dental protection as a hospital staff dentist, lecturer to the University of Adelaide and head of the dental unit at the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Experienced in working with children and teenagers, Scott is a incredible communicator. In 2006 Scott completed a 3 year fulltime postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (DocClinDent(Ortho)), qualifying him as a specialist in orthodontics and moved to Tasmania with his wife Julianne and 2 boys to appreciate working in a smaller community, embracing the outdoor activities on donate in Tasmania.
